Lifestyle Newborn Photography

Lifestyle photography captures & preserves moments that tell a genuine story you'll want to remember about life with your newborn. The clothes, blankets, nursery, and interactions. No props and no poses; it's just me and my camera. Newborn portraits and details are typically in arms and/or on a blanket or natural part of your home. I specialize in natural light photography; therefore, it is very important that we schedule your session during the time of day that best illuminates your home with warm, bright light. All overhead lighting & lamps will be off during the session.

Booking Your Session

​1. The first step to booking your session is to request a date. Newborn Sessions are held as a tentative date. There is no additional charge to change your session date due to your delivery being earlier or later than expected. I recommend scheduling a session 14 days from your due date.

2. Once you've selected your date, I'll reach out with a contract and information on how to send a deposit.

3. I require a 50% electronic deposit & your signed contract to secure your date. The remainder of your fee will be due a week before your session. I do not hold dates in my calendar until the deposit has been paid.

TURNAROUND TIME

You will receive your full retouched gallery within two weeks from your session date.

Your gallery can be expedited in 4 days for an additional fee of $150

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?

If there’s inclement weather, you can put your deposit toward a reschedule. Reschedules must be made within the same calendar year. I will confirm weather conditions 24hrs before your session.

 

HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE FILES?

You will receive your gallery on pic-time within two weeks from your session date. Download links to your gallery expire after two weeks. Please make sure to save and BACKUP YOUR IMAGES. I clean out my client files every few months and cannot guarantee that I will backup the images for you. 

 

DO I GET TO SELECT THE IMAGES?

Part of my job is making the image selects and choosing the most flattering photographs. The images I do not deliver are either repeats, blurry or out of focus, shots of you blinking or mid-sentence speaking. I have no reason to withhold any images if there are additional ones I think you would enjoy!
