Newborn photography is recommended within the first 14 days of life in your home. Lifestyle photography captures & preserves moments that tell a genuine story you'll want to remember about life with your newborn. The clothes, blankets, nursery and interactions. No props, no poses, it's just me and my camera. I specialize in natural light photography, therefore it is very important we shoot during a time of day that best illuminates your home with warm bright light. What to Expect I will suggest ideal locations in your home, you will then be guided as you interact with your newborn and family. Newborn portraits and details will typically be in-arms and/or on a blanket or natural part of your home. Tips Even though this takes place at home, it doesn't have to be perfectly clean. The most important thing you can do is be relaxed and embrace the moment as it is. It's perfect in its imperfection! FAQ HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE FILES? You will receive your full retouched gallery on pic-time within two weeks from your session date. Your gallery can be expedited in 4 days for an additional fee of $100 Once you receive your gallery you can then can send them to print, forward to your friends, family, and post online! Download links to your gallery do expire after two, so be sure to download your images asap! Please make sure to save and BACKUP YOUR IMAGES. I clean out my client files every few months and cannot guarantee that I will backup the images for you. DO I GET TO SELECT THE IMAGES? Part of my job is making the image selects and choosing the most flattering photographs. The images I do not deliver are either repeats, blurry or out of focus, shots of you blinking or mid-sentence speaking. I have no reason to withhold any images if there are additional ones I think you would enjoy! BOOKING YOUR SESSION I require a $100 electronic deposit to secure your session date and time. *Please note I do not hold any dates in my calendar until the deposit has been paid.* WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL/THE WEATHER IS BAD? If there’s inclement weather/ act of God/ or illness. You can put your deposit toward a re-schedule. Reschedules must be made within the same calendar year. I w
